VeloCity Custom Hand-Welded Road Bike

Although it is faster and easier to pedal than most racing bikes, this bike was 'intended' for easy or fast Century rides and overnight touring. The handwelded, made in America, frame is the cause of the minimal work needed to make this bike go, as well as the lack of harsh road shock. It doesn't tire you out from pedaling and it doesn't tire you out and numb your hands from road vibrations, even on an all day ride.
Note that the bike has down tube levers and no tape on the bars. Note also the stack of shims on the fork steering tube above the top of the threadless headset. These things permit a very wide range of positions.In conjunction with open-ended stems, the fit can be changed in two minutes, and the bike is ready for another test ride. After the fitting of this bike to the rider is completed, the shift levers will be moved to the bars or brake levers, and bar wrapping applied.
The wheels and handmade by Derby King with Campagnolo box rims;
the derailleurs are also by Campagnolo.
